Services

Maybe you just want to start by adding an EV charger in the garage, or by upgrading/converting your old gas water heater to a heat pump water heater (HPWH). Maybe you want to be a better steward of our environment and become a zero-carbon home. Or maybe you want to take control of your monthly energy bills and just start saving money!

We get it, and we want to help!

Service 1- Electric Vehicle Charger (Starting from $850 with local permit fee included).

You got an electric car!

But you’re tired of having to travel to destination chargers. Or the slow trickle charge of your garage wall plug just isn’t cutting it anymore. We can help select and install an EV charger or (install the EV charger that you purchased)*. Some EV chargers might even qualify for local rebates through your energy provider (i.e. Xcel $500 wiring rebate - conditions do apply). Want to learn more… We can help. Learn more about how to ballpark the cost of adding an EV charger by watching the video; Cost to install an EV charger.

Service 2 - Electrical Panel Swap (Starting at $5,800 / $7,250 for SPAN)

You are looking to add or expand services in your home with solar panels, electric vehicle chargers, new appliances, or a hot tub. But your electrical panel is maxed out!

Most homes have older electrical panels. They might not have available expansion slots for breakers, or may not be safe for upgrades. While replacing electrical panels might seem straightforward, there are newer options to consider. We can walk you through panel options, including “smart” panels that meet your needs, and even help you anticipate future enhancements.

Service 3 - Solar Panels (Starting at $3.18 per watt / 10kW system = $31,800)

As energy costs continue to increase, an excellent way to “lock in your rates” is with solar panels. (Federal Tax credit for systems installed in 2023 is now 30% due to the recently signed into law (IRA) Inflation Reduction Act. (Please consult your tax advisor regarding your tax situation.)

You are looking to purchase or update your home's solar panels, but perhaps you are overwhelmed by the typical solar sales pitch. Let us help you connect with a trusted company, negotiate on your behalf, or set up the full purchase and installation. We can make your transition to green energy as efficient as your new system. (Purchase and financed options available). We can provide up to 3 quotes for your review.

Service 4 - Battery Backup (Starting from $11,800)

The demand for energy is surging and is already straining the electrical grid. Consumers are getting concerned about potentially losing power.

Whole home battery back-up systems offer safety and security if the electrical grid becomes overtaxed. Battery backups are not only less expensive to maintain than gas/diesel powered generators, but they are also much friendlier to the environment. Battery backups allow you to take control of your home's power. Savvy consumers have realized that some utility companies charge higher rates during peak usage hours; at these times the software automatically switches to battery back-up power and avoids using the grid, saving them money.

We can help you purchase and install a battery backup confidently and efficiently.

Service 5 - Heat pump water heater HPWH (Staring at $2,750 installed)*

Have an older (12+ years) gas water heater that is due for replacement?

One of the best and least expensive projects you can do as a first step towards electrification is to convert to a Heat pump water heater. On average, you will save about $250 or more per year on energy costs… Basically pays for itself in five years, after rebates. Some HPWH models qualify for ($600 - $800 rebate depending on model*). Not to mention… you’ll be reducing greenhouse gasses, no longer tied to higher natural gas prices, and HP water heaters use less energy. Typically 3.5 x more efficient than a gas fired water heater! We offer a new (120v 15A) HPWH unit that doesn’t require installing 240v wiring, which saves a few hundred dollars on installation costs!

Service 6 - HVAC (Starting at $13,800 installed)*

Have an older gas furnace and older AC unit?

This might be the time to upgrade to a ccASHP (Cold Climate Air Sourced Heat Pump) or ccMSHP (mini-split) system. Heat Pumps do both; cool during the summer and heat during the winter. In Short - heat pumps “pump” the heat either out of, or into your home. This is not the old heat pump your parents told you about from the 90’s, nope! These are 300% more efficient and they are now Cold Climate ready and perfect for Colorado! Some come with rebates, and most importantly they reduce your carbon foot print. When combined with a solar array, you can tell those higher natural gas prices to take a hike! Want to learn more, watch this video. What's a Heat Pump?
